Emergency cash flow solver for young adults in acute financial crisis

A mobile app that helps people aged 18–30 facing immediate financial emergencies (eviction, job loss, medical debt) rapidly identify and execute multiple income sources (gig work, local labor markets, asset sales, emergency assistance programs) in real time, with a shared family/trusted-circle dashboard to coordinate action and track progress toward a concrete dollar goal.

The problem

Young adults in acute financial crisis (eviction in 30 days, medical debt, job loss) are overwhelmed, lack a systematic way to identify all available income sources (gig work, local job boards, social safety nets, asset sales, family loans), and cannot easily coordinate with family/trusted advisors; they resort to panic, poor decisions, or do nothing.

Who has it: People aged 18–28 facing an acute financial emergency (eviction notice, unexpected job loss, medical debt, or family crisis) within 30–90 days, with a concrete dollar goal and access to a smartphone and a trusted adult (parent, sibling, friend) willing to help coordinate.

Why now: Post-pandemic inflation, rising housing costs, gig economy fragmentation, and mental-health crisis around money in Gen Z have made acute financial emergencies more common; young adults are already on phones and comfortable with task-based apps, and gig-work APIs are now mature.
