Terms of service
Last updated July 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of The Eureka Database at theeurekadatabase.com (“Eureka”, “we”). By creating an account or buying a membership you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide things.
What Eureka is
Eureka is a research product: a database of startup ideas built from public demand signals, with sources, comparable businesses, build kits, working demos, and tools (workspaces, co-founder matching, an investor list, and an MCP server for AI coding agents). It is research and tooling — not business, financial, legal, or investment advice.
Membership
Lifetime membership is a one-time purchase that unlocks the full database and member features for as long as Eureka operates, for your personal use. One membership is for one person. Prices can change for future buyers; yours doesn't change after you buy.
No guarantee of outcomes
The ideas are validated against real demand signals and revenue comparables, but building a business involves risk we cannot remove. We do not guarantee any idea will succeed, any market will hold, or any revenue figure will be repeatable. Evidence is a head start, not a promise — talk to real users before you commit.
What you can do with the research
Build on it freely: any business you build from an idea in the database is entirely yours, and multiple members may pursue the same idea. What you can't do is resell, republish, scrape, or redistribute the database or its research itself — the membership is for building businesses, not for copying the product.
Your content
Content you create in Eureka (workspace notes, co-founder profiles, submissions) stays yours. You give us the license needed to store and display it inside the product, and you agree not to post anything unlawful or abusive. Pain points you submit may inform future research.
Refunds
If you bought a membership and it isn't what you expected, email jeremy@theeurekadatabase.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work it out. We reserve the right to refuse refunds where the account shows bulk-copying of the database.
Acceptable use
Don't attack the service, probe other members' data, spam members through co-founder messaging, or use the API/MCP beyond reasonable personal use. We can suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Eureka is provided “as is”, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us. We are not liable for indirect damages — including money spent or lost building any business based on the research.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date, and continuing to use Eureka means you accept them. See also our privacy policy. Questions: jeremy@theeurekadatabase.com.
